Storing your Christmas Lights...
Wind them around a sheet of sturdy cardboard or tubing, or simply gather the string into your hand in sections and secure with a twist tie. Or look for storage products at a discount or organizing store.Place all of your light strings in a large clear storage bin where they'll be easy to find.

Do you have a lot of mismatched drinking glasses? If so, turn them into storage containers for your bathroom with etching cream and stencils. You can apply frosted flowers, monograms, words, stripes or just about anything you can think of.

Going away overnight and don't want to take all your makeup paraphernalia? For that one night I just soak a cottonball or make-up round in make-up or mascara remover, and pop in a little zippyloc bag. I then just throw away when done. This saves space on all those bottles in your overnight bag. (I do this for up to 3 nigths worth)

Sammi....Just saw it on a cooking show today never knew it myself.
Cutting the bottom off tomatoes and onions helps to keep them from rolling while you slice them. Even saw her grate a garlic piece instead of chopping it into the meat.
Hope these hints are helpful.

Freeze the peel from juiced oranges and lemons. Whenever you want, you can add a piece to hot tea, cider or coffee for a burst of flavor.
