To make car bumper stickers easy to remove, apply a thin layer of car wax before you apply your bumper sticker.

It's Dunking Time

Apples are capable of floating since 25% of their volume is made up of air pockets between the cells. The soft texture of cooked apples is caused by the heat collapsing the air pockets between the cells.

If apples are losing their moisture and taste, try slicing them up, placing them in a dish and pouring cold apple jice over them and refrigerating them for 30 minutes.

Giving Cake Frosting A Silky Look00Pro

Professionallly decorated cakes seem to have a molten silky look. To get the same appearance at home, frost as usual and then use a har dryer to blow - dry the frosted surface of the cake. The slight melting of the frosting giives it that smooth lustrous appearance.

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you!!! Most of the cake decorating sites use it. Was surprised to read their is edible ink that they use in printers with edible frosting paper for cakes.

I would think you'd just heat the icing for a few seconds. Interesting tip.

Use coffee filters to catch drips from ice pops and ice cream bars. Just poke a hole in the filter, and insert the stick. Good for young children.

Sprinkle cake with powdered sugar before frosting to keep icing from sliding.
