Airing-out blankets and things on the clothesline

Anyone else air-out blankets and quilts and things outdoors?

Do you have a routine/schedule as to how frequently you air-out things?

Aside from blankets and quilts, what are some of the other things you air-out in your home?

I air out my blankets once in every 2 months. Sometimes i take curtains and sofas cover too.

When I have the time, about once a season, I will air out all the pillows, blankets, coverlets, and beat the rugs with a small rake. I love how they smell! That is the night I make sure to shower fresh before going to bed instead of in the morning.

And like Thelma says, I will do couch cushions, too.

Never thought about airing bedding out. I do enjoy opening as many windows as possible on the first decent day in spring to air out the house.

coming home from camping this weekend and we have two sleeping bags, three blankets, and two couch throws outside airing out, will save us a washing machine run if they can come fresh smelling enough, no grime, just musty

Cooler air is the ticket (I found) for musty smelling things.
