PineSol??

I have seen people at the laundrymat using Pinesol in their wash. What does this do? I don't want my clothes to smell like pine.

People that I know use it to cut grease and to deoderize their laundry. If you are allergic to pine or don't like the smell, I personally wouldn't use it. There is pine oil in it.

I have always used WD-40 to get the grease out. I will have to remember the pinesol and try that next time.

I just got grease on my favorite WHITE capris! Maybe I'll try the Pine-Sol treatment.

If anyone here gets grease on their clothes I use LestOil. Its great for removing tar from stuff to. Once dd1 fell off her bike and had tar embedded in her knee, we rubbed it with LestOil and it came right out.

another great thing that removes grease stains from clothes (oil from french fries, salad dressings etc.) is dishwashing soap. If it cuts the grease on dishes it will cut the grease on clothes. I pretreat any grease stain with dish soap and it works great. Pine Sol is often used for work clothes that get grease/oil on them (I know several mechanics wives who treat their husband's clothes with it before washing)
