Nail Polish Stain on Clothing

My daughter polished her nails the other day, and while they were drying she accidentally rubbed her hand on her khaki capri pants

We tried applying nail-polish remover with a q-tip, then used a heavy coat of prewash and machine-washed the pants. We did not put them in the dryer. The nail polish is still on the pants. Any ideas for other ways we can get it out?

Barbszy, You might find some help here: http://www.mrscleannw.com/tips/nail-polish-stain.html

You might have seen these tips already if you have done a search for some help. There are some wild ideas here too! I might try the one tip using the iron as a last resort. http://www.thriftyfun.com/tf925682.tip.html

Good Luck in getting the stain out!!

Happy face Wd-40

When all else fails, I try WD-40! Yes, that spray stuff my hubby keeps in the garage to help keep his engine parts lubricated! I don't know how it does on nail polish, but it works when nothing else does. Good luck!
