Tried oxy clean and it got some stuff out of the wash that normally wouldn't have come out as good. My mom just diluted some and used it to get a nasty stain out of her white carpet. She said it was like magic!
Now I've found other like brands at the dollar stores too. Wonder if one is better than the original???

I tried oxyclean and don't see much of a difference... clorox bleach is better in my opinion.....

HOWEVER, the Orange clean is really good as is Power Paste!

When we moved into this house, thescreen over the exhaust fan over the stove was unbelievably greasy. My DH was ready to go try to find one that fit this particular exhaust..

I tried this Power Paste on it and We couldn't believe it! I just put it on.. waited a few min and rinsed it off.. It was like new! It ate up the grease! It's good for grills too.. wonderful stuff....I highly recommend Power Paste and Orange Clean...and the new Windex Orange as well... *s*

Re: Oxy-Clean:

We like it very much. I never buy anything sold by informercial, but my MIL had some and we tried it. It does a fantastic job on stains on our off-white couch, cat yak on the carpet, various stains on clothing. I recommend it.

Oxi Clean

My husband is a high school football coach and I have used Oxi-Clean to clean/wash the boys uniforms after playing in the rain and mud. I found it best to put them in the wash with Oxi- Clean and let them soak for an hour or so. I was pleasantly surprised as the white uniforms came out clean!

I have used off brands also and found them to work almost as well. Have a good day!

Oxiclean

I took my elderly mom to get her hair cut. The chair had some black hair dye on it. It was a black chair and the hairdresser didn't notice. The back of her new polyester blouse was covered with it. I washed it, tried Clorox 2, Spray n Wash, everything and it didn't budge. I didn't soak it in bleach as it is pink and I feared that it would ruin it. I soaked it in Oxiclean as recommende on the package that I purchased at Wal*Mart. It came out.
I have never used any orange clean products. The reason? My mom bought some and it cautions against getting it on plastic among other things. I use Windex or the generics to clean practically everything and it works for me.

I fell for the infomercial and found out OxiClean does not clean. I prefer Clorox products.

I like the clorox version of oxyclean, it works the same and it really gets the tough stains out! I have even used it on vintage fabrics w/o damage.
Orange clean I think was only so-so.

Where do you buy "Power Paste" ? That is one that I have never seen!

I use Clorox on stuff that can handle bleach.

On other things, I use the Oxy Clean and really like it. I didn't try it until Wal-Mart started carrying it as I don't buy things from infomercials.

MY DH especially likes it use it in our carpet cleaner. The first time he used it on the carpet, he cleaned an area basically out of site just in case it did something to the color. The carpet really looks good after using the Oxy Clean.
