Last week I picked up 2 twin size comforters that looked and felt brand new for $9.99 each. One at Goodwill where they had another that I would have bought but it was marked $19.99 so I said something at the cash register about it's price. And the second one at the Salvation Army store.

Nice find RD! I find months can sometimes go by where I come across few new/newer things... then the next time I visit there's all sorts of things to thumb-through! Timing is everything... Timing... and a keen eye.

I've been buying candles on sale through Avon. Usually they are $10.00 but I have been getting them on sale at $2.99. So if my child wants to give her teacher a gift or my husband has a secret Santa party at work they know they can go into my gift small gift cabinet and get a candle.

Walking is my favorite form of exercise and it's free. In the winter I show shoe (or shovel snow as needed lol) I get lots of samples and freebies in the mail and use them as stocking stuffers.

Love to read the paper in the morning and cut out new stores opening or interesting articles about saving money on new items. Coupons are a must & new recipes.

I like to recycle paper goods and now have twin trash cans in the kitchen to make it easy, one for wet and plastic trash and one for paper stuff.

That pump soap in the bathroom seemed to empty so quick! GD washes her hands a lot and I was finding most of the soap on the sink as it dispenses way more than she needs. I took a rubber band and ran it around the push down part right under the top of it; it takes up lots of the space and now when you push it you get just a little (all your really need) of soap. It has now been over two weeks and not refilled that dispenser yet!

Here is a great frugality tip to get rid of gnats in your house or patio. Instead of buying expensive bug spray. Put a 1/4 cup of Apple cider vinegar and 1 T. of dish soap in a small bowl. Mix it a little with your finger and put it on a counter or table. They will go strait for the bowl.
