Purple hotdog buns? Wouldn't that look appetizing with that weird colored ketchup (which my grands won't touch and they LOVE Heinz ketchup!).

I made Raisin bread the other day, I used a regular recipe and a bread machine one and combined them. I find the dough when I use my kitchenaid to knead does come out a little stickier but becomes a great texture after the first rise. If I feel it needs more flour I add it during the second kneading which I do by hand.
I used the cinamon chips and I added milled flax seed, boy is this bread addicting and it made 2 large loaves.
I refuse to buy any of the food with those wild colors or weird flavors in them, first, who knows what it does to us and second for kids it doesn't really teach them to eat right.
Have you see the peanut butter in the tube, like toothpaste, it is way more expensive then the jar stuff. I think skippy makes it.
My ds can eat a lot of PB and J and although I buy the brand name I try to catch sales. what they must put in the PB to make it stay in slices???? yuk

Guess "they" figure if we'll drink blue Kool-Aid we'll eat purple and green stuff that shouldn't be purple and green. Nasty! Next thing you know, it will all glow in the dark and move by itself.

Hey, we've got some of that at work! It's a glue (Epoxy) that glows in the dark, spooky! It doesn't move though:p

They now also have green chocolate milk. My nephew had some at his house so I let ds have a bit. The next day his diaper was about the same color, the funny thing was dh didnt know ds had green milk and got the begeebies scared out of him as he was the one changing the diaper! Needless to say we wont be a consumer of green chocolate! My little cousins all like the green ketchup and have a couple of times now informed me that it has more vitamin C then regular ketchup. I guess that makes it okay yuk is what I say wont be buying into that either!

Foil in dryer

Hi Cafe, My husband wants to know if the foil will take the finish off the dryer drum. We just bought a brand new washer & dryer and he doesn't want to ruin the dryer's drum. Would the foil still work if it is tucked into a light-weight sock perhaps? How does the foil work to soften clothes anyway? Thanks for all the great tips here!;-)

Happypuppy-

I'm sure Cafe would agree, no it doesn't damage your drum. One of our electrical support techncians here at work explained it this way:

Metal- is a conductor of electricity, it soaks up static, static is electricity.

Now you have taken Electricity 101

It didn't work that well for me but several ladies on here say it did good for them. I have been splitting a dryer sheet in half, works just as well! We don't want the manufacturer's to find out though, or they'll start selling us half sheets at full price!
