Coupons for real food???

Hi! Does anyone know of a good coupon site that has coupons for food people actually eat?? Preferably food that does not have Sponge Bob or Dora the Explorer on the box/container?? I mean real adult food! Anyone??

Thank you!

I'd be curious to see what anyone comes up with on that too. I watched Oprah yesterday it was a repeat program but I hadn't watched it the first time, on being frugal. Anyways, they have a "expert" coupon shopper on there that they went shopping with. She showed a bag of carrots on sale for 49 cents and said" I have a coupon" for these so they are free. She then went to where the whole chickens were at and said "these are on sale and I have a coupon for it"... I forget what the cost was but I was thinking where did she get coupons for fresh produce and real meat?

Great question! I only wish that my local stores would accept internet coupons.

I agree that coupons for "ingredients" rather than "processed foods" are too few and far between.

I haven't seen that Oprah show but I've seen where a lot of frugal women are saying that her tips weren't that great and that they could do much better than her when shopping.

Funny---Oprah and frugal--two words that really don't go together. lol!!

Anyway, I would love to know where to get "real" coupons, too! I would surely use them!!

I have also wondered where you get coupons for fresh meat & fruits & veggies. I had seen a few that gave you xx amt of $$ off meat if you bought a certain product that would be used with the meat. But that was quite a while ago & was for something that I would never use. I had seen that program when it first was on & was not impressed with the frugal ideas. FC frugal thread is so much better!!

From time to time our local Weis store will have a flyer at the end of the checkout and it has coupons for produce and meats. They also do a 20% off any wrapped meat sale about twice a year. I haven't really seen any manufacturer coupons for produce and meats though.

One of our stores, Giant Eagle, marks down meat from the day before and quite a bit. I have bought some a lot of times and it is still fresh. I think they get it from the fresh meat counter when it doesn't all sell.

Good question, I would love to find coupons for fresh veggie/fruits. I sometimes see coupon for Angus beef but can rarely find the HB sooo.
I will take what I am served knowing someone out there is being served MUCH less

usually I just wait for the loss leader sales on meat and fruits and veggies. I have never really seen coupons for that stuff. Someone should email Oprah and ask.
