Thanksgiving Pies

  • Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie

    2 graham cracker crusts

    Mix together:
    1- 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
    1/3 cup packed brown sugar
    1 Tablespn pumpkin pie spice

    Add: 1 -15 oz can pureed pumpkin and mix well.

    Blend in 4 cups SOFTENED, not melted French Vanilla Ice cream
    stirring lightly.

    Divide equally among the 2 graham cracker crusts
    Cover each with a layer of saran wrap, then with heavy duty foil.
    Place in freezer immediately. Thaw slightly before serving.
    You can garnish with whipped cream and a touch of fragrant ground cinnamon.

    We are having a pecan pie(for hubby) and a pumkin pie ;-)

    I love pumkin pies. I just don't know if I want to make a traditional pecan pie or try and find a new recipe....hmmm
