Thumbs up Sweet Potato Casserole

I used this last year at Thanksgiving and it was a huge hit

1 (2lb 8oz) can cut and drained sweet potatoes
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup pecan halves
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Place sweet potatoes in ungreased 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

Combine remaining ingredients, pour over potatoes.

Bake uncovered for 45 minutes

Top with marshmallows & let cook remaining 10 minutes

April

Thumbs up This Recipe Has Won a Blue Ribbon

Happymomof4 has given this recipe a blue ribbon.

Congrats its_apie!! This really sounds good. We love sweet potatoes and I will be trying this.

Thank you Charlotte for being a recipe tester and testing this recipe.

I made this for a pre Thankgiving trial. It was wonderful. So easy to make. I will be making this on Thanksgiving this year .

This was a hit for Thanksgiving. My whole family of 13 loved it.

The only thing I did different was I used fresh sweet potatoes instead of can. I cooked the sweet potatoes and peeled them before I made this.
