Question Basketball Coach gift

Hello I am looking for an idea for a coach gift for my Daughters BB coach. He has been coaching for years since he has 4 children oldest is 19 and youngest is 10. My daughter plays with the yongest in all sports bball, soccer, & softball. He coaches everything except soccer. I am looking for something different. Something that he will use. I have given him gift cert. in the past. Any ideas?

I just read a really cute idea that a team did for their coach. At the begining of their season and throughout the year, a different girl would buy a shirt from each game they attended, the coaches wife also contributed 2 shirts. At the end of the season, they paid someone to cut the t-shirts and make them into a memory quilt for him. They also included white squares which were signed by the kids. The middle square was personalized to the coach, the year and school name. What a treasure!

Ive done some reading from coaches and most agree that its the personal written thank-yous that mean the most to them. Maybe they could write a team thank you and you could frame it. Does he have a favorite inspirational quote that he uses all of the time--this would look nice framed too. How about a team photo that was frame with a wide mat around it then have the team sign it all the way around the mat?

Just some ideas.......

I thought of one more gift that would be nice and wouldnt cost anything (or probably very little). You could write a nice thank you letter to your newspaper. Our local newspaper has a "letter to the editor" section where we can submit letters for free. This would be a nice way to show your appreciation too.
