Teacher gifts???

What do you get your childs teacher for Christmas or what do you make for them??
Friends are like windows through which you see out into the world and back into yourself... If you don't have friends you see much less than you otherwise might.

teachers christmas gift

When my grand was in the lower grades of, I would get the kids in her class at lunch time to stramp or trace their little hands onto a canvas tote, and then I would finish it at home. Now that she is older, we give gc for manicure/pedicures and a basket of holiday goodies.

Since I make Christmas cookies that is what my kids always gave their teachers. Besides can you imagine how much STUFF teachers must get over the years. At least these could be eaten and gone Ditto for the bus drivers, sunday school teachers, etc.

I look for quick easy ornament ideas that my child can make w/me for their teachers, drivers, etc. They like to glue and paint anyhow so it's fun, thrifty and they have a gift to share.

I have worked in the schools for 25 years, 1st as a parapor and now as a computer specialist. One thing always appreciated is supplies. I used to cute notpads for a $1.00 and send with a box of pens or pencils, or stickers. Also any extra school supplies for students. All kids run out and many never bring them so teachers usually end up handing out pencils, crayons or glue sticks. Buy when school is starting and everything is cheap. cau

This year I started selling Avon and I found some great gifts under $10 that I ordered.
A Bed Time Tea Collection and a Tea Time Candle Collection that I chose, wanting to give a more personalized gift. Also, every year I give a special tree ornament that will remind her of my child Avon added a special one this year so his gift will be unique.

How about Blockbuster gift cards--everyone loves a movie!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved.
