Homemade Old Bay Seasoning

1 tbsp ground bay leaves
2 1/2 tsp celery salt
1 1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp black pepper
3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp ground mace
1/4 tsp ground cardamom

Combine all ingredients, then store in an airtight container.

We celebrate the 1st (Canada Day), and it was nice, as always... though the fireworks show was cancelled this year due to the extremely dry and hot weather we've been blanketed with.
