One way to add in an "extra" coupon is with the coupon rebate apps and getting paid to print and use coupons.

I've noticed more and more coupons are saying "limit 2 per transaction" for the same coupon. Though I'm not sure they beep at the register if you use more. I do know at least at my grocery the cashiers know P&G will only allow 4 like coupons in an order.

All of the store in my area will only accept 4 of the same coupon in one transaction. And a lot of times on their sale items, they print "limit 4" right in the sale ads. Otherwise you can try to get by with more.
