Don't know about elsewhere in the country, but in the Chicagoland area, our major grocery store, Jewel, takes expired coupons. They have taken expired coupons for more than 40 years. And Dominicks here also does. Jewel is now part of Albertsons so if I were in a n area with Albertsons, I'd at least ask them. Dominicks is part of Safeway. This is not a joke, I've been categorizing my coupons for a long time & get many items free or nearly free, like recently General Mills cereal was 10 for $10 and I ended up paying 50 cents or less a box. Also, if you use a Walgreen's coupon, you can also use a mfg coupon at the same time. Unfortunately, Walgreens won't take expired coupons!

Thanks for the info, Denise, and welcome to Family Corner!

A friend of mine told me that Path Mark supermarkets take expired coupons. I have never tried it though, since there isn't a Path Mark in my neighborhood.

Thanks Denise & welcome to FC. I live in Lowell, In & we have a Jewel about 15 mins away. I did not know that they take expired coupons. I will keep that in mind & use my expired ones there rather than tossing them. Thanks again.
