Hi guys

Wanted to share this info with you! Here is their website

Saving Bundles on Groceries…Just a Click Away!

Cherry picking the best deals is not a new trend. The savvy grocery shopper has long been taking advantage of the weekly-advertised specials, splitting their shopping list among a number of stores to maximize their savings.

According to a recent research study undertaken by Edward Fox (Southern Methodist University) and Stephen Hoch (University of Pennsylvania), 80% of households sampled, cherry-pick. On average, those who cherry-pick save 5% more on each item they purchase. They also purchase more items (over two-thirds more on average) stock-piling their pantry, which further compounds the total savings. While cherry picking, from the study context, implied visiting more than one store, the research revealed that the total savings through their efforts more than offsets the extra shopping time required. Given the number of grocery stores that are within close proximity to each other, fragmenting the shopping trip is really a no-brainer.

So, what trait do cherry pickers have in common? They tend to be strategic about their shopping trips, planning them carefully.

Until recently, the planning component required effort to manually sift through the weekly circulars to identify the best deals and to prepare the shopping list. However, with the launch of, a free on-line service, the weekly advertised deals are right at the consumer’s fingertips with the shopping list only a few keystrokes away. Simply register, select your favorite stores and enter your shopping list, and the site will automatically find the best prices on the items in your list from among the stores you selected. Additionally, you can save your list and use it on return visits to the site to save you even more time. Alternatively, as a member, you can “skim the flyers” with the added power of searching by brand or product category. Your price-optimized shopping list is broken down by store, further simplifying the shopping process.

Named one of the top ten desktop diversions for 2006 by Business Week Online and referred to as the “Google in local grocery shopping and budget-minded meal planning” by, provides the deal-minded consumer with a one-stop site that saves both time and money. The site is available in over 525 U.S. cities (and growing), and includes ALL major grocery store chains. So whether you are a cherry-picker or pantry-shopper, include as part of your weekly routine…and save bundles!
