I can't take it anymore

I think my stepkids hate me.

Anything I say to them to misconstrue... its like I can't say anything right, or do anything right.

I hate it.

Should I just leave?

What does your DH say? And does he have custody? I don't know how old your steps are, they only advice I can give that I did with my stepson, was to be patient and let him know that I was there for him. But under no uncertain terms would I let him run over me, his dad or my 2 kids. I always had trouble when he would come back from visit with his mom, with a chip on his shoulder. I stopped him and the door, politely told him to knock the chip off his shoulder cause me, or his step siblings or dad didn't put it there, so leave it outside. He got the message and never came back home with a bad attitude of what had happened over at mom's house for the weekend.

Hope this comes to you with you having much better days!

I know that blending families is NEVER easy. My dsd lives 3000 miles away and in a way its easier but at the same time it racks up a WHOLE different set of problems. Talk to your dh and see if there aren't some issues you can work out.

BTW -- we are from the same area!!
