Welcome to Fc

To all moms that has that same feelings as stepherlynn
from a mom that has worked and been a sahm as well.

I've took care of kids and my grandkids, and heard so many moms feeling the same way and I just wanted to share something with you.

keep in mind you can stay so focus on finding who you are, and where the girl went vs the woman you are, that you miss out on raising your kids. Then you will look up one day and that baby is no longer a baby, but a young man or woman, then you blink again, and they be having thier own kids.

Enjoy the moments you got now, and allow yourself to be a kid with your kids from time to time, as we are as young as we are in heart, or vice versa, being as old as we feel.
Not good to feel that way, so allow the young at heart to flow thru and savor each moment and just be yourself....

Take time for yourself from the kids every day, to do something that brings out you... it could be a craft, a good book, a nap, whatever. Teach the kids by allowing you some quite time is respecting you and it helps you to stay calm..

When kids gets out of control is so often we as parents has allow it, and we need to get back in control. Send those kids to the room, telling them you will deal with them after you cool down, but for now to think about what they did wrong.

For when we are trying to do a thousand things at one time, we are going to pop the cork from time to time, and that doesn' t make you a bad mom..

Remember to teach the kids thier responisbilties and get them to do thier part, that way you don't feel like a slave or to much put on you.
Teaching kids to pick up thier own stuff is good for them.
boys can do dishes, girls can take out trash. teach the boys to do laudry... As I learned to teach kids how to defend for themselves in case they never get marrried or if thier mate gets sick they know what to do.

Take time each day to be with your husband, as that will keep the fire a little bit more cool, as daddy needs momma too..
and get the kids to do something where you and him can stay on the same page.

Again, we all have that little girl in us, we just don't always allow her to come out... so do... it alright to act like a child from time to time, and it alright to allow that child to come out for your kids to see, that way it helps them to see you were a child... Share with them the memories, photos, of when you were a child....

Keep in mind you travel alot of road and that we do change a little bit daily... so enjoy those changes and don't allow it get you down for you not the little girl you were, but guess what you kids won't always stay small either, they will grow so enjoy them while you got the time.
