Hello SAHM's

Just wanted to introduce myself...My name is Kim and I am a SAHM/WAHM to 3 boys. (I posted in the moms of 3 or more forum) I love every minute that I spend with my boys. My hobbies include camping, and watching scary/thriller movies. I also enjoy going to the beach. I have 2 dogs...a 10 month old black lab, Max...and a 2 1/2 month old puppy(dachsund-chiuaua-sheltie), Wednesday.

That's about it for me...

:D Kim

Good idea!

I'll follow Kim's lead and introduce myself, too!

My name's Kelly and I am home with my five children (b, b, b, g, b) whom I homeschool. I also do freelance writing and web design, and any assistant editing work that the Webmom throws my way. :D

My spare time is spent cooking, cleaning, disciplining, chasing, and SLEEPING!!! :p

Hi Kelly,

I would love to get into Freelance writing. I've been looking for someone who could tell me how to get involved. Can you point me in the right direction?? I'll tell you kinda what I'm looking for as a "job"....Someplace that will give me a topic to write on, I write, submit it and get payed! Is that wishful thinking on my part?? Does something like that exist?? I've only just begun looking into this line of work. I'm looking for something that can eventually lead into full time work. I know nothing will just fall into my lap, but I would like to do this. I have written an article about my son, but I'm not sure it's good enough to publish, and I don't know where to publish it.

Can you help me??

Hi ladies

I'm a SAHM/WAHM, I decided not to open a work at home moms message board here as it always ends up full of advertisements. So instead, we can talk about that here. If conversations actually pick up about working at home, then I can open a seperate board. We'll see how it goes

Anyhoo, I actually have my own business (this site of course) and I am partners with my husband, we own a transmission repair shop. I'm the biz end, he's the brawn.

We are currently remodeling our basement and I am so excited! Eventually I will have a craft room downstairs along with my kid's playroom and a den! Yay!

Hello,

I work with a team of Moms called the Mom Team. To summarize what we do without coming off like an advertisement...we promote our business with a free website we are given...we place ads looking for other moms who want to work from home. We call them after we recieve a request for more information, if they want to get started we enroll them as a customer into the pharmaceutical company we work with. They make a minimum purchase every month, and we get payed a commission on that each month. And then it starts over...they enroll someone..blah, blah..they get payed and so on. We can't mention the name of the company, because that is their policy, but when we contact the person, we tell them everything. There is a start up cost, but it's minimal and comes with a 100% money back guarantee.

Just a word of warning...if you put up a board for ads...you will get bombarded by Mom Teamers. No offence to the team, but some people will post over and over and over again....SPAM. I for one would like to see for that not to happen. That is just a suggestion though.

Have a nice day
Kim

mom team

LOL Kim, yes I've had my run ins with Mom Teamers. However, as of late, they (at least many of them) seem to have changed their ways. I sell a lot of ads in my newsletters to them. I always want people to be successful, as long as they go about their advertising honestly and not being annoying!

I hope it does well for you!

Now as for these kids....

BAHAHAHAHA!

helloooooooooooo:-)

Hello everyone,
Looky-looky, another chance for me to gab LOL.
My name is Irene and I too am a SAHM but I don't work out of the home. Well I say I don't get paid for the work I do anyway LOL. I have three wonderful little boys. 9-7 and 5. I enjoy the position I am in very much as it gives me the oppurtunity to volunteer at thier school as much as I do( which is a lot). My kids think I am on staff there, my oldest one asked me how much I get paid to work there. When I, again, told him that I am just volunteering he made me feel sooooooooooooooo good when he said "well for the amount of things you do there Mom you should get paid" Do you think that made my heart melt or what:D
I do have to admit that because I wasn't going out of the home to work I thought that it would have a negative effect on my kids but I am glad I was wrong. Again I am verrrrrrrrrrrry lucky that with my husbands salary we are able to live a more than comfortable lifestyle, our kids want for nothing( except the latest toys that we don't want to spoil them with) and I am able to be a stay at home and be a part of thier schooling .
I also have to admit that I do sometimes envy those of you that are able to do it all.
Ciao for now,
Irene
