Were you affected by the bad weather that NC has been experiencing?

The last couple of months have brought some really bad storms into our area. The lightening has been awful. 3 people have been struck by lightening.

We've had 2 small tornados go through. The first one left damage within a 1/4 mile of our apartments. Lots of trees were knocked down and a few building were torn up.

Has anyone else in NC been affected by the storms?

We have had some storms here in Virginia that have been humdingers lately but our biggest problem for a while was the air quality due to the Carolina fires. It looked like a haze for a while. Who would have believed the smoke would travel so far? I live near Richmond.

bad weather

PA. has been experiencing some very bad weather lately, but not as bad as N.C. or the Midwest.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have had to put up with the very bad tornadoes, rain, hail, and lightning. Mother Nature sure knows how to unleash her fury sometimes.

Also, my prayers go out to the states that are putting up with wildfires. I was visitng my ds once in West Palm Beach, Fl., and they were having a wildfire at that time. We went somewhere, and when we came back, we could see the fire line and lots of smoke that went with it.

That's the only time that I have been close to a wildfire in a state.

My family still lives in southwestern Pa. I can't believe the rain that they've had this year...and it's so cold!! WOW!!

We had a bad tornado in WI. but our biggest problem has been flooding. We have gotten so much rain and we have bridges washed out and roads washed out. Dams have been leaking. A number of counties have been declared disaster areas and FEMA is still here.
Tonight they are expecting heavy rain in some of the flooded areas.
One of our popular areas Lake Delton is empty. It was a man made lake and the high waters washed ground away and it drained into the WI River. I beleive that made headlines all over. Plans are to rebuild it.

There have been bad storms all over. Prayers are being said for all who are in their path.
