HI!

We have not spent much time in central OH since we have lived up here. Columbus is about it. We are hoping to camping out at Hocking Hills soon. My husband is flying out of Columbus this weekend to go visit his ill grandfather in CA.

The Hocking Hills are beautiful. I have relatives who live near there. We go on a major camping trip once a year to the Ohio Power lakes (Morgan & Gurnsey counties), 6 adults and 7 kids between the ages of 4 and 13. The guys go fishing so we come up with all sorts of ideas for the kids to keep busy, and of couse the guys get them for a fishing trip to give us a break. Port Columbus is pretty nice. It's where my brother-in-law flies out of and he's particular, so if he likes it, it must be nice.

Hello All,
I'm new at this site. I live in Crooksville, about 24 miles south of Zanesville. I'm retired & my 5 children are grown. I have 16 grandkids including 6 step grandkids. I've been married for 40 yrs. I love to crochet, do crafts, sew & research the family tree. I hope to make some new friends in here.

Columbus, Ohio

I've been on board for awhile now but just came across this thread. Looks like Ohio is outnumbered by the other states. I live in Columbus, Ohio am a native Buckeye although I have also lived as a child in Bartow, Fl., Southshore,Ky. and Richwood, Ohio which is in Union County. I've been married 16 years, no children but have 5 small nieces and nephews. We have 3 dogs who are our babies. I work in Hilliard, Ohio a daily communte of about 20 minutes.

Hello Anna,
I'm very glad to meet you. I'm not very far from you... I'm in Crooksville. I have a brother & neices & nephew in Columbus. They live on the west side. One of my neices just moved, so don't know exactly where she is, but still in that area. I also have a cousin that lives in Columbus.
I've been raised mostly in Ohio, but have lived in Michigan & W.VA. when I was small.
Hope to see you on soon. There is a chat room on the site now, so if you'd like drop in there & chat with some of us.

Minny

Hi

Hi Minny-

Haven't checked out the chat forum yet...I've been in the frugal living section mostly along with cooking and crafts, it's a wonderful forum and I've met some really nice people This is my favorite site and look forward to learning more from all the great people on here and of course, sharing my own experiences. We live in NE Columbus not too far from the fairgrounds, The Crew Stadium and about 5 minutes from downtown by freeway. We have people here at work who live on the westside.
