Ice Storm 12-9-07

How long were you without electricity?

I was out almost 4 days but some I knew were out up to 10 days . . . and my poor trees!

10 days! OMG! I can't imagine that at all. What on earth happened?

December 9, 2007 Tulsa and the surrounding areas on up into Missouri were hit with an ice storm. upwards of 80,000 residents were without power. The weight of the ice broke limbs off of all the trees - and some trees were completely destroyed. I myself had no power for 4 days and some even longer. They were working clear into May hauling the limbs away that people placed curbside - it looked like everyone that didn't have pros clear the limbs had built forts!
