Hi....I was born and raised in Maryland. I left the area and did not return for 22 years. I call Florida my second home... Especially during this very cold and long winter. It has reminded me of my days in Maine...brrr. The sun was shining today but once you got out there is was pretty chilly!! Looking forward to Spring!!

Elaine

Hi Elaine!

I'm originally from MD, College Park, Frederick, Southern MD. I moved to FLA and now am in Georgia. Where abouts in MD and FLA were you? Are you in Maine now?

Hi Sharon

Wow...you've been all over Maryland! Which was your favorite part...if you have one...? I am currently living in Maryland...in my hometown of Westminster.

I lived in Florida for 12 years in a town called Niceville. I loved it there. My son still lives in FL....in Sarasota.

I lived in Maine for 4 years. In the very Northern tip...brrrr!

I'd like to go back and visit Maine sometime. The coastal areas are beautiful.

I enjoy traveling but don't get to as much as I used to...

How do you like GA? Did you like FL?

Elaine

I think I liked Frederick the best, but I was raised in College Park, so it's special, too.

I know where Niceville is! I lived in Cape Coral/Fort Myers for 16 years. We got tired of the heat and now are in GA. A little more than a year ago we came through here, fell in love with it, quit our jobs, sold our home and moved. It's been interesting to say the least!

What made you decide to move back to MD? We still have family in Gaithersburg, Annapolis and Fairfax. We'll be heading up in June for our Niece's graduation. It's been years since we've been back. Living in FLA made us the destination for vacations! LOL

Hi Lori...I live in Carroll County. I have not been to Western Maryland for a long time! Have you always lived there? It's very pretty out there.

Glad to meet you!

Hi all..

Not in MD but I'm right at the MD/PA border. We are 30 minutes from Hagerstown and 45-60 mins. from Frederick, and 1 and a half from Baltimore . I work at MAG auto auction formerly known as Mason Dixon Auto Auction. We get a lot of folks from Maryland!

We visited OC this last Thursday-Saturday and our family "donated" blood at Asseteaque Island LOL

It was Senior 2004' week so the boardwalk was a bit crazy even with thunder and lighting!

Anyone near Hagerstown???

Hi Elaine & Morelia,

I live in Cumberland now for the past 10 yrs. I was raised in California since I was around 3 or 4 yrs old. am now going on 38.
Shhhhh.

This is a beautiful area. I enjoy all but the humidity but I can find a few ways to deal with it.

Nice to meet Y'all. This is a great site.

I am new here. I introduced myself on the introduction thread. I
am trainlady's mom. This is my first thread to respond on.

I was raised in Baltimore and lived in Highlandtown. I went to school at Colgate Elementary. I graduated from Patterson High.
My mouth is now watering for crab cakes and hard crabs spread out on newspapers. My first job was with the X-ray Dept at Johns Hopkins Hospital. I moved away from Baltimore in 1961 but will always have fond memories.

Looking forward to hearing from any one from Maryland-my old stromping grounds.

Hugs - trainsmom
