My Kids are 10, 4 (Will be 5 in Dec), and 3. They are looking forward to decorating the tree when Nikki, my oldest, gets home.

I'm having lots of fun crocheting hats and leg warmers for Christmas.

My hubby just mentioned fishing at Blue Mesa on Saturday. I think he may be a little more than crazy. Sheesh. I guess I'll have to think tropical thoughts during the arctic fishing trip. Ha Ha.

Hee hee Ice Fishing - almost

I haven't been ice fishing since, well, since I moved out here. Back home (MI) it is already frozen enough to go fish in a hole!

We are going to cut our tree on Sunday. Haven't had a real one in several years, but this is the year! I'm tired of burning pine scented oil, never does smell quite right!

We Homeschool, so I anticipate decorating on Monday.

Going to the Parade of Lights this weekend? Hopefully it won't be as cold as last hear! My little cub scout just about froze himself stiff and the other two looked like little snowbabies.

This year we will participate in Delta's Parade of Lights on Friday with Sunday School, and then Montrose on Saturday. Busy weekend!

Have fun decorating your tree. We're watching Racing Stripes and drinking hot cocoa!

I have 1 postcard from Colorado it's a snow scene and anything I've seen on tv or movies is always winter time.
What are the other seasons like and are any of you still living there?

Colorado IS beautiful in the Wintertime, but the colors of a Colorado Spring, Summer, or Fall are incredible, and our sky is as blue as any you'd ever hope to see!

Sounds like down south where they have the mountains with snow. I've never seen the mountains with melting snow like that from lots to none.
Don't you love those clear blue sky days
