I'm not 100% Irish...but I am Scot-Irish and proud of it!

Me too! I'm so Irish I bleed green! It was funny when my SIL first met me and was finally opening up to tell me his ancesterage. He said he was such-and-such percent Irish, such-and-such percent Native American and such-and-such percent African-American. Since we are pure Irish, and he knew this and he was/is terribly shy, I said (with a straight face) to my DD in front of him, "I didn't know you were getting with a Mutt!" We all laughed, but he had this horrid look of shock on his face! Later, he asked my DD if I was prejudice. She said that I wasn't and was just pulling his leg. Of course, he now starts things with me as he is more comfortable picking on me now. lol

Oh yeah, I have the Irish temper too.

Lisa, does that make you a half-breed or a mutt? lol I hope you know I am joking because I like you. I have met a few Germans and I can sure imagine that mix can be lethal, especially when you are PMSing. lol
