Oh, my mother isn't Irish
And my father isn't too,
But today I feel as Irish
As the really Irish do.
For today I wear a shamrock
That is green in every way
And though I am Canadian,
I am Irish -- for today!

To look at me you'd think I am Irish. I've got red hair.
But the only Irish thing about me is my name-Colleen, which is Irish for girl.

I'm a mixture of several nationalities. My Gr Gr grandma on my mom's side was born in Scotland, my Gr Grandma on Mom's side was born in Ireland, my gr grandparents & grandparents on my dad's side were born in England.

I'm always Irish on St. Patty's Day!

Webdrops, love your poem.
