............. I am working on organizing it! Tips anyone? I do think I will place a small shelf we have by the sewing machine to help organize my projects.

1. when I finally got my threads onto a wall organizer (Wal Mart with the little wooden posts) I was able to feel organized

buy more of those little posted organizers than you need, thread spools have a way of multiplying

2. hang a corkboard next to the threads so you can post pattern instructions, needle choice charts, and from the bottom of it I hang my many specialty pairs of scissors, all within easy reach of my sewing machine

3. clamp a lighted magnifier mirror to your left, one of those on the folded arm is great because it can be swung up and out of the way when you are not using it

4. be sure to plug your machine into a power surge strip

I have a thread organizer, it is in the closet. Need to get it up!!

I unplug my machine when not using it so I don't need a surge protector. I think...

I have one of those little thread organizers also. I love mine. Now if there was some way to keep your bobbins with thread that is one them from getting all tangled up. I've tried the boxes and that just does not work for me. Any suggestions?

I have a smaller wire caddy for thread. I use it for bobbins. Works great. Bought it at a thrift store. I can put three bobbins on one hook thing.
