Share your best tips for organizing the stuff your kids like to play with in the yard or pool!

I like to use "milk-crate" type crates to store toys. This way if something is wet, the water will not sit in the bottom of the container. We have one for balls and one for "swords and other weapons!"

We purchased one of those Rubbermaid type storage benchs (so 2 adults can sit on it) and my son stores his outside toys, balls in that. It works wonderful and provides additional seating and is attractive to boot!

Oh yes the one we purchased also has drainage holes in the bottom to allow any water to drain out. But with the seat down none really gets in.

We bought a heavy duty garbage can for our kids to keep their outdoor toys in. We don't have pool toys so we don't have to worry about water drainage.

Larger outdoor toys such as bikes, scooters etc go in the garage.
We have 2 large plastic boxes for things like skates and balls and the other is for smaller things likewater shooters, skipping ropes etc and they are usually in the backroom which leads to the back garden
