Crock Pot Chicken and Corn Chowder

1- 10.5 oz can reduced sodium, reduced fat cream of celery soup
1- 10.5 oz can reduced sodium, reduced fat cream of mushroom soup
2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
2 1/2 cups frozen corn, thawed
2 - 14 oz cans cream style corn
1 1/2 pounds cooked chicken, shredded
1 1/2 cups diced potatoes with skin on
1 1/2 cups carrots, shredded
1/2 cup chopped onion
3 cloves garlic, minced
13 oz fat free half and half
reduced fat cheddar cheese, grated, for garnish

In a 6 qt crockpot stir together the soups and broth till blended. Add the corn, chicken, potatoes, carrots, onion and garlic. Stir till combined. Cover and cook on LOW 5 to 6 hours OR on HIGH 3 to 4 hours. Vegetables should be tender when done. During the last 10 minutes of cooking add the half and half and stir well. Put shredded cheese on top of each serving. __________________

We Welcome Strays

When I was young we used to go "skinny dipping"; now we just "chunky dunk"

“The value of doing something does not lie in the ease or difficulty, the probability or improbability of its achievement, but in the vision, the plan, the determination and the perseverance, the effort and the struggle which go into the project. Life is enriched by aspiration and effort, rather than by acquisition and accumulation.”
