Easiest Onion Soup Ever!!

Easiest Onion Soup Ever!
1 box of Lipton Onion Soup Mix(or store brand)
3 to 4 medium onions, sliced lengthwise
1/2 cup Gruyere cheese(or any cheese you want)
Croutons (any flavor you like)
Use both packages of the onion soup mix, and add 8 cups of water.
Add the sliced onions and simmer til the onions are done! Thats It!!
When ready to serve add the shredded cheese and croutons on top!

I also like onion soup. This sounds too easy,fast and convenient not to try. Thanks for sharing. I will try it ina week or 2.

Sandie this was the best Onion Soup Glen has ever had...He loved it...

The easiest and the best soup...Did not change a thing about the recipe...
