ISO...Bread N Butter pickles recipe.

okay i don't know if bread n butter pickles classifies as a snack but to me it is!! I currently but the Buddies Bread N Butter pcikles which are around $5.99 a jar because theya re the best I have found. My Mam maw used to jar her own and I would love to know how to do this like my Mam maw used to do. Does anyone jar their own bread n butter pcikles that would be willing to share your recipe??? I can eat a ton of these!!!

Bread and Butter Pickles

48 cucumbers, sliced to your desire
3 small onions
4 cups sugar
4 cups white vinegar
1/4 cup salt
1 1/2 tsp mustard seed
1 1/2 tsp tumeric
1 1/2 tsp celery seed

Line the bottom of a large pan or bucket with the sliced cucumbers and onions. Set aside

Add the remaining ingredients to a large pot and bring to a boil. Watch out, this will clear your sinuses. Pour the boiling mixture over the pickles and let come to room temperature. Place cucumbers in jars and fill with liquid. Chill and keep refrigerated.
