A snack I loved as a kid was graham crackers spread with powdered sugar frosting then sandwiched together. OH YUMMY. I tried it once with prepared frosting (in a tub) but it just wasn't the same....

I posted this here as I didn't know where else to put it.
What are good snacks to make in this ARTIC weather (I am such a wimp......LOL) we are having.
Also am I crazy or does warm snacks help those who work out in this stuff.
I am asking because my hubby works on a dairy farm for a local farmer. He goes in at 3 am and gets home at 12 noon or so. He doesn't like breakfast or meals before 10 or 11 am but he also doesn't stop for "lunch" or break. I send hot coffee, but what about snack ideas???

Sorry if this is a silly question
Thanks in advance.

Hugs and Blessings,
Cathy

Cathy I don't think it sounds crazy--hot food does help! Look at how a bowl of hot oatmeal helps when going out in the cold. :p

Have you tried looking on recipe gold mine?
http://www.recipegoldmine.com/

It's a wonderful site with just about any recipe you could desire!

I love the old fashioned carrots and ranch or peanut butter and celery....

alot of parents buy snacks for after the soccer games and drink.
