"We" must mean Sharon and you since this is the first I've heard anything about it.. as I said lack of communication with the moderators.

The newsletter is what enticed me to join FC many years ago.. it was linked thru The Dollar Stretcher. I don't look at it much now days simply because I come in directly here instead of thru email links. I rarely look at my emails on the account this is set up through. But.. we do a good job and it's interesting to read, with my new job I just don't have time to sift through all the emails anymore.

I miss the newsletter.. without it, I don't know when someone posts that they are new & introduces themselves.

Anna, Sharon posted the reason it was not being sent out a few weeks ago but I don't remember which thread it was posted on.

Thanks apricot, I don't remember which thread either and just assumed most people saw that when they were on FC.

I know there was some discussion about it on the FC FB page.

As far as I know, the canada spam issue is a big deal, and will take some time to resolve. Sorry folks

Thanks Paul.

We have a forum for moderators: In the old days nothing was ever posted on the public threads before being announced and discussed in the moderator forum. That way we all knew what was happening and why. Randomly posting something on here assumes that we all read the same threads.. I usually don't unless it's something that looks out of place like a spammer.

Odd about the newsletter and a shame.

I don't read the Newsletter much, but it was nice to see it when I felt like reading.

Excuse my ignorance but, what is the reason why the Newsletter has to go through Canada?

Mom....Was thinking the same thing! Just don't send their newsletter and let the rest of us enjoy ours.
Noticed the decline in everyone posting without the newsletter. The posts usually get lost after a couple of days.
The newsletter is a way of checking back.

It is exciting to see your articles written in the newsletter, makes you feel like you are contributing to keeping FC alive and running for a long time.

Sharon has been doing a great job with the newsletter and I know she is just as concerned as we are to get it running again! Thank You Sharon!
Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon!
