2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
8 oz sharpo cheddar cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)
1 1/2 cups sour cream
1/2 cup chives

In a 8 quart pot, add potatoes and water to cover by 1". Cover pot and heat to boiling on high. Add 2 tbsp salt. Reduce heat to medium and cook potatoes partially covered about 30 minutes or till tender. In a 2 quart pan melt margarine and add garlic. Cook 1 minute ortill golden, stirring.
