Wild Rice

  • 1 cup wild rice
    1/2 cup mushrooms,sliced
    1/2 cup onions, diced
    1/2 cup bell peppers, diced
    1 tbsp oil
    1/2 tsp pepper
    2 1/2 cups chicken broth

    Layer rice and vegetables in crockpot and pour oil, and pepper over vegetables. Heat broth and pour over ingredients in crockpot. Cover. Cook on HIGH 2 1/2 -3 hours or till rice is soft and liquid is gone. 4 servings
