Shrimp in Wine....
1 lb shelled large or extra large shrimp
(Shrimp are cooked when they form the letter "C"]
4- cloves of garlic, peeled
1/4 cup butter
4-5 ounces white wine, such as Beringer Chenin Blanc
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, optional
2 Tablespoons fresh chopped Italian flat leaf Parsley ( not dried, please)
sprinkle of salt

Heat butter over med low heat in a fry pan.
Add garlic and when it starts to redden, remove it.
Add shrimp, cook 3 min per side, sprinkle lightly with salt, add wine, and saute for 1 minute... add the pepper flakes ...and toss...
Put in an oven proof dish.. and keep in 200 degree oven while you prepare the pasta.

Sprinkle shrimp with fresh chopped parsley when ready to serve

You can serve the pasta and shrimp side by side or with shrimp on top of pasta. Add a tablespoon of sauce to each helping.
