Sweet and Sour Shrimp

Sweet and Sour Shrimp
as posted in What's for Dinner, March 2007 by cat lover:

1 pound spaghetti
1 large onion, halved and sliced
4 cups broccoli flowerets
1 1/2 pounds cleaned medium size shrimp
1 btl. (11.5 oz) sweet and sour sauce (I use Kikkoman)

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add spaghetti and cook according to pkg. directions. Drain. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a 12" skillet and add onions and cook 2 minutes. Add broccoli and continue to cook stirrring about 5 minutes. Add shrimp and season with 1/2 tsp salt & 1/4 tsp pepper. Cook stirring another 3 to 5 minutes or till shrimp is no longer pink. Stir in sweet and sour sauce and spaghetti tossing so all the ingredients are well mixed. Remove from heat serve. 6 servings.
