Girl Scouts for 5-year-olds?

Someone recently told me that 5yo are now allowed to be Girl Scouts. Does anyone know more about this? Or how I could find out?
Thanks in advance,
Samantha

Daisies?

Hmmm, I thought they had to be in First grade. That's Daisies I think? Maybe Daisies IS Kindergarten ???

At any rate, you can find out who your local Girl Scout Council is by going to http://www.girlscouts.org/ then click on "council finder". It will give you a map where you can click the state you live in. I found this, if you live in Mississippi:
http://jfg.girlscouts.org/cgi-bin/Co...d.IDC?STATE=MS

They can give you the information you need!

Good morning! Daisy Girl Scouts are for girls in Kindergarten. They are the cutest ever in their little blue aprons...they don't sell cookies, but they do have FUN! My daughter is a Senior Girl Scout and she started as a Daisy Girl Scout. She is now "troop assisting" with a Daisy Girl Scout troop and really enjoys working with the younger girls. Girl Scouting is a way of life at our house!! We wish you and your daughter many wonderful years as a Girl Scout~you can join as an adult Girl Scout and help out, too!
