Lightbulb Fundraising help

I need help. I have approximately 10 junior girl scouts who are planning to go to Savannah, Georgia next year. We are having a difficult time finding fundraising ideas or financial sponsors. Do you have some great ideas? Let us know.

Have you looked into Avon? They have fundraisers and you get a nice percentage of the sale. They have nice stuff too, especially at the holidays!

i have a jr. toop also, our troop hasnt done any trips or fund raising as of yet. the only things i could think of were the obvious, cookies.... fall qsp magizines sale, fall calendars sale, troop yard sale, car wash, one of our local grocery stores has a hot dog vendor wagon like they have at street fairs and festivals and they donate the food that may be something you might check into. also tupperware also has a fund raising kit i think you make 40%

i hope that helps

Cookbooks

Have you considered cookbooks? I think they are a cute idea. If you go to the search engine google and punch in "fundraising cookbooks" it will leads you to many sites that deal with this.

Ok it is early in the morning - I'll be back with more ideas.

When are you going? Are you allowed to do Raffles where you are? If you are then consider a November Raffle, 1st prize a 22 lb. Turkey, 2nd an 18 lb turkey and 3rd prize a 14lb turkey. Get with your local grocer and see if they will either donate the turkeys or wait to purchase right before thanksgiving when they are the cheapest. With 10 girls selling, if each sold 20 tickets you could easily have a profit of 150 or more. If they sold more your profit goes up. This was always a great fundraiser for us. We also gave an incentive for sales to the girls, like 50 tickets sold they received an 18lb turkey.

Good Luck!

fundraising help

Hi! I've either organized or helped in Fundraising thru church, softball, Drill & School.
My ideas: Cookie Dough Sale, Small Carnivals, You can put on sm. plays and charge a sm. admission (or free admission and charge for snacks),
Our Softball team does a Bat-a-thon each season. It brings in over a $1000. with just 12 girls. You could do any kind of thon. Take donations for per Hour/ft (ect.) or a flat donation. This usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to do.
You might can get local Vendors or supermarkets to help you. We did a fundraiser with a local grocery store. They let us come into their store and pass out samples We got a percentage off what was bought of each item during the time we were there. The store furnished everything we just had to stand there and entice the customers. They also had a popcorn machine & Ice Cream float stands for us and we got all the proceeds from this.
I hope these help.
