Pinkie Winky Girl Scout COOKIES!

Cookies sales started on the 15th and end on the 29th. They have a new patch this year called Me and My Guy Cookies Sales. Daddy, Grandpa, or other male adult goes with the girl on a specific day and sells cookies and they earn the patch.

Anyone need cookies?? LOL!

I missed out!!!

So this means I missed out on Girl Scout Cookies this year?
Where was I when all this happened??? I LOVE girl scout cookies and somehow I didn't see one girl scout selling cookies!!!
Is it the same time every year? I never think of WHEN it's being sold...just how YUMMY it is!

Oh well...better luck next year for me...

Kat

I'm pretty sure it's the same time every year, BUT I could be wrong. I seem to remember it being March in another town we lived in, so the dates could be different for each district or town. You can always check with the Girls Scout Council website. Here's what it says on their site:

Q: How can I purchase Girl Scout cookies®?

A: The best way to purchase Girl Scout cookies® is from local Girl Scouts. To find them, contact your local Girl Scout council by:

Using the Girl Scout Council Finder. (found at http://www.girlscouts.org/faqs/cookies.html )

Looking in the white pages of your telephone book under "Girl Scouts." If you call the council, volunteers or staff there can help you find a cookie booth or a Girl Scout troop/group near you.

Selling Girl Scout cookies is a program activity for girls. Each of our 317 Girl Scout councils develops the procedures and guidelines for its cookie activities, including the dates when you can order or purchase cookies and the price per box. A council conducts only one cookie sale per year. Most of these activities take place between January and April, but some occur in October and November.

Post Cookies

I know that i G.S. cookies and the cookies start selling up here in January usually around the 17th and they stop around the 2nd of February then the cookie booth sales start when there is Spring break. That is when they are for sale up in Alaska and usually they sale for $3.50 which I know some of the lower 48s they sale for $4.00. So hope you get a hold of some cookies next year. For they are all good.Jeanne

Our troop started its cookie sale on 1/15. They have "cookie shops" set up at local banks, etc. The girls are always very enthusiastic to sell their cookies at the cookie shops.

I am the cookie chair person for our troop this year. The cookies were just delivered. I never new how much work the girls do each year to earn their money for activities and camp. Cudo's to all the girl scouts and their leaders and parents. It is such a wonderful organization to be a part of.
