Hi macole! Our troop started taking cookie orders in mid January. The cookies came in this week and we will start our booth sells next Friday. Our troop has 3 booths this year. Unfortunately they are not the best as we got the last draw in two drawings and then a leftover. Oh well every sell is a little more for Girl Scouts.

I give Kudos to the cookie chairs. Having to pickup and do all the bookwork!

ME AND MY GUY COOKIE SALES

I have not heard of this ME AND MY GUY COOKIES SALES before but it sounds great. We did for the first time have several fathers attending cookie booths with their daughters this year. We even had one troop that had a father as a TCM. I guess that is now TCP to be politically correct.

Welcome Cheryl. I had not heard of that campaign either.

We have several dads who have accompanied their daughters to the cookie sales and have helped out on trips too.

Did you see the news about Girl Scout cookies causing obesity. Just what we need one more obstacle while we are trying to sell cookies to earn money so the scouts can do things.

I guess some day they will have to have a warning on the side panel just as cigarettes do. Like we don't know that consuming too many can cause one to be overweight.

I have eight scouts in my troop and none of them are heavy at all. My nine year old daughter only weighs 46 LB.

That is so ridiculous. They're COOKIES! Of course, if you eat the whole box of them, you're in danger of obesity....

I have not seen that news story yet.

If a person want to get really technical any food not eaten in moderation will cause obesity. To pick on Girl Scout Cookies is pretty bad. Our Boy Scouts sell tickets that included a free candy bar so I guess that will be th next target. I just have to shake my head.

Yea I know it is rediculous. Sometimes I think people just have nothing better to do when they complain about such petty things.
