Boy Scouts?

Anyone have boys in Boy Scouts? Both my sons where ion Boy Scouts ( we never got involved in Cub Scouts) and one became an Eagle Scout and the other never quite got that far; I believe he made Life Scout. Our troop went camping every month of the year and yes we woke up to snow on the tents sometime. But we had a camp out each month and the boys all got to explore their learned skills each month. It also allowed us to go places we would have never been able to afford just as a family. My DH and I were both Assistant Scoutmasters in the troop. Luckily we had several other parents that would assist with driving and even staying on the camp outs too.

I really miss all that, but I think we made many memories with our boys as well as other boys in the troop. Since I'm not out in the public any longer I just wondered if this is still going on for families? Whenever we run into boys from the troop several of them have thanked us for giving our time to them and they DID make memories that they really are glad they had the opportunity to make.

So is there anyone here or that you know of in Boy Scouts in this day?
