Thumbs up Sesame Seed Salad dressing

SESAME SEED DRESSING

* 1/3 cup sugar or honey
* 1/2 tablespoon sesame seeds
* 1 1/2 teaspoons grated onions
* 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon paprika
* 1/8 cup cider vinegar
* 1/2 cup canola oil

Combine all dressing ingredients except oil and seeds in blender and blend until well combined.

Slowly drizzle in oil until dressing is thickened gently blend in seeds and set aside.

Mix spinach and fruits when ready to serve and add dressing and toss.

**NOTE: If dressing is prepared ahead and refrigerated, be sure to take it out before serving as it will be too thick to toss, let sit out at room temperature so it will be easier to pour. I love this dressing on my salad when I use chicken or turkey, they make a great team.

Yes, thanks! I have only good things to say about this delicious recipe! Here are my thoughts!

DH made the Sesame Seed Salad Dressing on his own a week ago while I was at work. He made no substitutions. So the directions are simple enough! He made it in one of those Good Seasons bottles.

It is a thick dressing and does well just fine sitting on the counter by itself. The taste is tangy and sweet at the same time. The sesame seeds float to the bottom so shake it up well before using. Our sesame seeds were not toasted, I would recommend toasting them to add a bit of crunch as our untoasted ones were a little chewy. It was okay when used with food though.

We sizzled sliced venison in a non-stick skillet using the dressing as the sizzle sauce. It added a wonderful flavor to the venison. Sweet and salty and tangy all at the same time. We then added a can of baked beans to the pan. Wow! the Sesame Seed Salad Dressing even blended well with the beans.

So this dressing is a win win win in every aspect we could think of. Can't wait to actually try it on some greens and chicken like the author recommended. This dressing is going to be a classic in our house from now on.

Later in the week we had the dressing with some tomatoes and it was again terrific.
