Charlotte, if you don't have that connection with the church you currently attend, why not look around and find a different parish? When we moved here, that is what we did. Ask neighbors and friends where they go to church and what they like about that church.

I am a Catholic convert and love all of the extra special services like Ash Wednesday.

In the winter I become a hermit because of SAD. Getting out of the house is the hardest part, once I'm in the car I'm thrilled to be going to Mass.

Joining a group helped me to get in the habit of Sunday Mass. First it was RICA, then the widow/widowers group, then the seniors group. I enjoy visiting with people from the different groups before or after Mass.

This Lent I'm giving up sweet and salty snacks, like cookies and chips. My unhealthy snack habit has gotten completely out of control and I'm not eating fruits and veggies like I should. Hopefully I'll get into a healthy habit by Easter!

Love & Prayers,
May God give you for every storm, a rainbow, for every tear, a smile, for every care, a promise, and blessing in each trial, for every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh, a sweet song, and an answer for each prayer.
