Are you familiar with the beleifs of other spiritual traditions? Is there one that particularly interests you?
I am familiar with both Catholism and Southern Baptist. As most of you know, I attend both.
Yea, it's true.the Catholics bash the Baptists and the Baptists bash the Catholics.but I am very simple minded and I love everyone at both churches. It's the same God.
I am familiar with most religions. But right now I am trying to learn more about Kabballah and Scientology. Not because I want to join, but because I like to learn new things and try to understand someone else's belief system.

Orthodox Christianity was so interesting to us that we converted - 28 years ago. And haven't been anywhere else since! It rests firmly on the earliest Judeo-Christian practices and traditions. It is the oldest of Christian Churches.

When I was in high school I took a class that was called "The Bible as History," before they totally banned the Bible from public schools. I remember my teacher mentioning that all of the old major world religions had a flood that destroyed all the earth except one family but they all gave him a different name. Christians and maybe the Jewish believe he was Noah. I've never pursued it to see if what she said was true but think it would be interesting to check into.
Anyone else ever attend a church besides the denomination of your own family? Ever been inteersted in changing? Ever searched for a place to belong? Ever found one?
