church where you were raised

What type of church were you raised in and what type/denomination do you attend now?

I was raised Catholic. When I met Mark I started attending his church too, which is, have been a "bapolic" for going on 15 years now!!!

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I still go.

I was raised catholic and then in my early teens was forced to attend an assembly of god, I have been to many different denominations now, even including non-denominational, and do not go to church anymore just pray from home.

I was raised in the Church of Christ. The church I attended as well as my parents we very judgmental. When I became an adult, I questioned some of the things that I had been taught as I had not found them in the Bible. I had a good friend who was and is a Church of Christ minister. He did not believe in being condemning of others and helped he understand that God is a loving a just God. I can love others unconditionally, even when I disagree with their lifestyles because I myself sin. I still attend the Church of Christ when I am able. However, I do not attend the old style type that I grew up with.

I was raised in the Christadelphian religion and I still belong to it/go to that church. My husband was raised Catholic, but converted to Christadelphian after we'd been dating awhile.

I was raised Catholic and still practice my faith. As a matter of fact, I still belong to the same parish.

Raised Catholic. Spent 10 years in non denominational, also good. Went back to Catholic 20 years ago.

I was raised Methodist and grew up attending the Methodist Church in my home town. Years later I ended up marrying the son of a Methodist Minister. We now attend a Methodist church in our town. At one time I almost converted to Judiasm but ended up not doing it. Guess that kind of worked out as my dh and I ended up being of the same religion.

denomination you were raised

I was raised Catholic, til in 4th grade. That is when my Dad & I were both saved. Then we started attending Baptist. I now attend a non denominational that is based on Baptist. Our pastor was raised Baptist, but it is very casual and modern. We are modeled after the Saddleback Church--where Rick Warren is. (author of 40 days of purpose)

raised Southern Baptist, went to the Christian Church, went to a Lutheran Church briefly and also went to Assembly of God. I still call myself a Baptist but I don't attend. I pray wherever I am, whenever I want.
