Keeping the Sabbath

Does anyone try to arrange it so you do as little work as possible on Sunday? Do you truly make Sunday a "day of rest" and prayer?

I think I might ask God to not let so many camels fall into our ditch on Sundays!

This is an interesting thread. "Keeping the Sabbath".

There is only one Sabbath in the Bible that the Lord instructs us to remember and that is Friday sundown to Saturday sundown.

Although I realize that most of Christiandom keeps Sunday as a day of rest, but if someone wants to do a bit of research they will find that the good Lord never changed His true Sabbath day.

Not trying to belittle anyone here, just chit chatting and making comments like everyone else.

Blessings,
Dawn

Don't think it matters as long as we take a day of rest. Everything the Lord did was for a reason and He knows whats best for us.

Obviously this is a hot topic, and I surely do not want to debate on it. The true answer for anyone is directly stated in the 10 commandments. It doesn't matter what we feel or think, what matters is what the Lord say's and commands.

Blessings,
Dawn

Moderator's Note

Before this winds up being a debate on which day is truly the Sabbath, please allow me to remind everyone of the topic that was stated:

Do you try to make the Sabbath Day a day of rest and prayer?
