Boy, I hear you. I used to love making the time, even late at night to bake something special. One year I made 10 boxes of cookies for gifts. All who received them loved them but the idea of taking the time to do that is exhausing even thinking about it. There could be lots of factors. Age, for one. I was 35 then, now I'm 52. I'm working more now too. My DH just does not get excited about food. He is one of those disgusting people who can eat whatever he wants but food just doesn't excite him. He is just as happy with a store bought chocolate chip cookie as a home made one.
Anyway, Sometimes there's just so much pressure, expecially this time of year, where you feel you are "supposed" to feel this way and that. If you don't, you don't. Could be lots of reasons but would it be the end of the world if you didn't make cookies for one year? And who knows, maybe once you take the pressure off that ole feeling will sneak back in! Good luck

I'm feeling a little discouraged about dinner....sometimes it seems that DH is the only one who eats it. I'm busy dealing with Luke at the table, the Big Kids are "too full" (of who knows what, since I haven't let them in the kitchen for 2 hours)....Luke seems to thrive on air sometimes. I put away most of what I cooked tonight, and I expected to only have to put away enough for one person's lunch and this is a meal everyone claims to LIKE!
