All time Favorite Meal

WHAT IS YOUR ALL TIME FAVORITE MEAL???

I would choose a cheeseburger grilled outside on a bun with tomato, onion and a little mayo and mustard, pickles on the side, corn on the cob, deviled eggs, South Carolina sweet tea and homemade lemon meringue pie!!!

peace,train

My alltime favorite meal is meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn. YUMMY!!!! This is "comfort" food to me.

My favorite meal is a big hearty breakfast, but if we're talking non-breakfast food, I'd say... some good homemade fried pork chops, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn on the cob, stewed-until-they're-mushy green beans, and a roll for the gravy!

My favorite meal is one that I don't have to cook! But lets see, if I'm cooking, it would be hamburger chow mein with lots of water chestnuts and wontons. Hmm, yum!

Your favorite meals sound more "wintery" then mine!!! Meatloaf and mashed potatoes sound really good! I need to buy one of those removable meatloaf pans. (two parts) My mom has one and her meatloafs turn out a lot better than mine.

Songberries, I will have to try your chow mein recipe!! Is it in the recipe thread?

What is YOUR alltime favorite meal??

peace,train

Mine would have to be pasta with a REALLY GOOD marinara sauce, a green salad with Italian dressing, crusty bread with butter, and for dessert a nice hunk of lemon meringue pie sounds good (thanks for the idea, Train! ) with of course a good cup of coffee.
I'm going to close now before the puddle of drool hits my keyboard

My favorite meal is fried chicken, mashed potatoes or potato salad, depending on the season of course, corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes and onions with poppy seed cake for dessert.

That was my b-day dinner all my growing up years. It's my favorite comfort meal. MMMMM My b-day is in 2 weeks. Guess what I'll be making!
